Can I create my own page? --Orza7 (talk) 17:13, 7 August 2024 (UTC)
- Of course you can! Please read WP:YOURFIRSTARTICLE for more info. Lordseriouspig 19:17, 7 August 2024 (UTC)
Do not close reports at SPI. That is reserved for admins and clerks. Thanks.--Bbb23 (talk) 16:28, 11 August 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks Bbb23. I don't know what the pecking order is there, Lorsseriouspig, but I do know that I placed a comment there which was actionable, and you seem to have overlooked it completely. Thanks, Drmies (talk) 16:59, 11 August 2024 (UTC)
- Yeah, I’m still new to that aspect, and I seem to have read that note User:Drmies mentioned, @Bbb23. Do you know of any guides I could read, I’m struggling to find them if so. Lordseriouspig 20:26, 11 August 2024 (UTC)
- Guides about what?--Bbb23 (talk) 20:37, 11 August 2024 (UTC)
- Helping out with SPI, especially as a non-clerk. Also I’m sorry if I messed anything up lmao, I believe I misinterpreted your request. Thanks, Lordseriouspig 20:45, 11 August 2024 (UTC)
- I've just looked at your recent attempts to "help out" as a non-clerk, and they are not helpful. In one, you said you were providing additional evidence, but you didn't add a single diff (the best evidence are diffs), and in the other you improperly used a CU signal. I think you should direct your energy to other areas of the project.--Bbb23 (talk) 21:11, 11 August 2024 (UTC)
- Listen, I've been here for a while, and you may have noticed that I asked another editor for help. Many parts of Wikipedia require lots of experience and expertise. The SPI stuff is really complicated in various ways, and you simply do not have the experience (technically, and with edits and editors) to be doing that kind of stuff. It may happen--but this is such an important area that we have to be professional about it. Keep editing--stay out of really complex areas until you are more seasoned. Thanks.
